Adam, a dedicated firefighter/paramedic based in Clackamas outside the Portland Metro area, possesses an innate understanding of vehicles from a young age, adeptly diagnosing issues and tinkering with modifications. His knowledge, largely acquired through hands-on experimentation, spans across all brands and vehicle types, from hot rods to class 8 semi-trucks. Driven by curiosity and a thirst for innovation, Adam embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by establishing his first automotive repair shop in a modest 3-bay pole barn at his residence. Over time, his vision expanded, culminating in the creation of a large-scale operation boasting 25 lifts, 35 mechanics, and the expansion to three additional locations under the Pro Automotive & Diesel (PAD) banner. Recognizing the need for strategic expertise, Adam enlisted Lily to manage bookkeeping and finances, leveraging her automotive background, particularly in the diesel realm. Together, they seized opportunities for growth, leading to the establishment of Diesel Fuel Injection Service (DFIS), a fuel shop launched in January 2022. Adam and Lily’s symbiotic partnership facilitates the growth of each business component, with each playing a crucial role in the collective success. Rooted in Adam’s tried and true process, their calculated approach ensures strategic execution since the inception of their entrepreneurial journey.
