What it costs — and what waiting costs
What Cummins owners say
"Harold and his crew are the pros. I brought my new 2026 Ram 2500 truck in... Customer service at its best! When it was time to pick up my truck, they had it right up front looking good. I was amazed at the transformation."
— Randy Schultz, 2026 Ram 2500
"This is hands down the best shop I've ever worked with, regardless of vehicle or city... Everyone in the shop was knowledgeable... I felt completely comfortable putting my truck in their hands."
— Jordan Paddock, Diesel F450 Dually
"Great customer service. Kept me updated on what was going on... Used BD exhaust manifolds that are made to last, unlike the OEM ones that warp over time... Great turnaround time."
— Johnny Kondilis, Ram 1500

Frequently asked questions
How long does the conversion take?
Most trucks are in and out in two business days. Driving in from out of the area? We schedule around your trip.
Will this void my factory warranty?
Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer can't void your whole warranty over aftermarket parts — they can only deny a claim they prove the modification caused. Most of our customers are at or near powertrain warranty expiry, which is exactly when the factory lifter risk starts being all yours.
Do solid lifters make the engine louder?
A slight classic Cummins valvetrain character at idle — the sound these engines made for decades. Most owners love it. We set expectations honestly before the job.
Can you do it in-frame?
Yes. The flat-tappet conversion doesn't require the dealer's roller-lifter tool, so the engine stays in the truck.
What if my cam is already damaged?
We inspect first and quote contingencies up front — no surprises. That's the point of the free risk assessment: catch it before it's metal in the oil.
Is the 10W-30 TSB enough?
It reduces risk. It does not fix the design. The rollers still have no needle bearings and marginal oiling.
Do you take trucks from outside Portland?
Yes — Oregon coast to central Washington. Two-day turnaround target, scheduled around your trip.
Financing?
Yes. Ask when you call — a conversion is a fraction of an engine, and payments make it a planning decision instead of an emergency.
